I was unable to go back to where I had flourished but unable to move into new things. In the midst of the bareness, I was given a very simple prophetic word about “dancing with the Father”.  At the time it was a mystery to me to understand what that actually meant.

In the pursuit of understanding this directive, the Holy Spirit led me into deeper encounters with Himself as well as Father God and Jesus. The truth in these revelations unlocked things in me that healed and set me free in so many ways. Using these revelations, I began to pray with others and saw healing and release.  Thus, the birth of ‘the JESUS encounter’.

The JESUS encounters are based on biblical principles. They are the fruit of the simple but powerful message of Jesus and what He has achieved through the cross and His resurrection for every person. The Jesus encounters use creative ways to bring people into the fullness of His truth that sets the captive free.

For more than 10 years I have used the principles of ‘the JESUS encounter’ to lead many out of darkness into His love and freedom. I can only credit the Lord being the author and finisher of ’the JESUS encounter’ as it was not a direction I would have chosen to pursue. It is a work in progress that continues to unfold the wonders and mysteries who He is and how much He loves us.

In essence, it is the generosity and power of Jesus’ love that is at the heart of each Jesus Encounter.
